White wine, orange liquor and cranberry come together beautifully in this version of mulled wine, which traditionally calls for a robust red wine. Combined with our seasonally available Mulling Spice Mix, this recipe delivers a punch! The addition of dried cranberries for garnish makes an impressive presentation.

for the sugared cranberries
Combine water and half of the sugar in a saucepan, heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, stir in cranberries, let stand 2 minutes. Carefully drain cranberries in a colander, then place them on a sheet of parchment paper to dry for an hour.
Fill a large saucer with remaining sugar and add a spoonful of cranberries. Roll the cranberries until coated and scoop them onto a new piece of parchment paper. Repeat until you've coated all the cranberries. Let dry for 30 minutes or longer before using as garnish.
Increase ingredient portions to make this recipe in a Dutch oven on the stovetop for a crowd.
