24 Spice Advent 24 Days of Spice + Recipes

Every December morning, a little door. Behind it, a new spice or blend. Some you know, like cinnamon. Some you'll be meeting for the first time.

Each of the twenty four is a Try-Me size sample, two to three teaspoons. That's enough to actually cook with, not just sniff and shelve. And when a spice stumps you (day nine is a lavender situation), our online companion page has recipe ideas for using each one.

Now, some honesty between friends: the doors can put up a fight. Getting the day's spice out is occasionally its own little morning workout. We've decided to call this anticipation, and we hear that makes things taste better.
