directions
    Season & Sear the Chicken
  • Season the chicken breasts generously with half of the Chicken Love seasoning and the kosher salt.

  • Heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown. Remove from the pot and set aside.

  • Build the Base
  • Add the remaining butter to the pot along with the diced carrots, celery, and onion. Cook until softened and fragrant, about 5–7 minutes. Season with the remaining Chicken Love seasoning. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir continuously for 1–2 minutes to cook out the raw flour taste.

  • Add the Broth & Cream
  • Slowly stir in the chicken broth, followed by the cream and fresh lemon juice. Return the chicken breasts to the pot.

  • Simmer
  • Bring the soup to a gentle simmer and cook for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

  • Shred the Chicken & Cook Orzo
  • Remove the chicken from the pot and shred or dice it. While the chicken is out, add the orzo directly to the soup. Stir and cook for about 12–14 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.

  • Finish the Soup
  • Add the shredded chicken back to the pot along with the lemon slices. Stir gently to combine.

  • Serve
  • Once the orzo is cooked, garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Chili-Citrus Poultry Rub
spice blend collab
We've always loved all things chicken, so it only felt right that my very first spice blend was crafted to bring out the absolute best in it. Chicken Love is built around the flavors I reach for most in my own kitchen which are normally bright citrus, a little kick of chili, and just the right balance of savory spices. Every sprinkle captures the essence of what I love to cook and share with my family. Bring a little love to your table with Chicken Love, our signature chili citrus poultry rub. The name Chicken Love came straight from our kitchen at home–when my son tasted the very first batch, I asked him what we should call it and he smirked and said, "chicken love." From that sweet moment on, the name stuck. All you have to do is give your food some love! Why you’ll love it:
  • Bright citrus + smoky chili = crave-worthy flavor
  • Perfect for roasting, grilling, or pan-searing
  • Delicious on chicken, turkey, fish, and veggies
  • Small-batch crafted for freshness
  • More than just a spice blend, it's a little sprinkle of family, flavor, and love.
