Place all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl or large cup. Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Strain, reserving cider in a clean mug. Garnish with whole cranberries, if desired.
Increase the ingredients accordingly to make this on the stovetop for a crowd.
