Combine the milk, sugar and cacao powder in a small saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cacao and sugar have completely dissolved. Whisk in the spices and salt. Remove from heat and immediately stir in the rum. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
For garnish, top with whipped cream or float a marshmallow or two.
