Savor the exquisite fusion of sweet and savory with this Butternut Squash Risotto with Cacao-Maple Spice. With diced butternut squash, Arborio rice, and the delightful blend of Cacao-Maple Mélange spices, this creamy dish is a culinary adventure.   • In a large pan, heat olive oil and sauté onions until translucent. Add Arborio rice and stir to coat with oil.

  • Pour in the white wine and cook until it evaporates.

  • Add diced butternut squash and Cacao-Maple Mélange spice blend.

  • Begin adding warm vegetable broth, one ladle at a time, stirring until absorbed before adding more.

  • Continue this process until the rice is creamy and cooked to al dente.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh sage leaves.


Expiry: If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Consume within 2-3 days.
tips
Add the warm vegetable broth gradually, one ladle at a time, allowing the rice to absorb the liquid before adding more. Patience ensures a creamy consistency.

Risotto is best enjoyed immediately after cooking while it's still creamy. If needed, you can add a bit of warm broth or water to revive the creaminess when reheating.
