a little bit about the recipe
I love giving classic guacamole a fresh twist, and this version is extra creamy, light, and full of flavor. Whipping avocado with Greek yogurt creates a silky texture, while citrus adobo, serrano, lime, and sweet mango bring the perfect balance of savory, spicy, and bright.

directions
  • Add the avocados, Greek yogurt, lime juice, 1 teaspoon seasoning blend, serrano, cilantro, and salt to a food processor.

  • Process for 45 to 60 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until completely smooth, creamy, and fluffy. Taste and adjust with additional seasoning blend, lime juice, or salt as needed.

  • Spoon the whipped guacamole into a wide, shallow serving bowl. Use the back of a spoon to create swoops and swirls across the surface.

  • Top with the diced mango, a few thin slices of serrano, cilantro leaves, and a final sprinkle of seasoning blend. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

expiry
Up to 2 days refrigerated in an airtight container.
tips
Use a ripe but still firm mango so the cubes hold their shape and add a sweet, juicy contrast without becoming mushy.

Prepare the guacamole as close to serving time as possible. If making it ahead, press plastic wrap directly against the surface and refrigerate to help prevent browning.

Chile-Lime Taco Seasoning
spice blend collab
Mercado Citrus Adobo was inspired by the bright, vibrant flavors found in Mexican mercados, where dried chiles, fresh citrus, and vibrant fruit are always part of the experience. I wanted to create a blend that captures the flavor of a fresh chile-lime marinade while still being versatile enough for everyday cooking. Built with guajillo and ancho chiles, lime, mango, and warm spices, this blend brings brightness, depth, and a subtle tangy finish to tacos, grilled meats, seafood, vegetables, and even fresh fruit. Fresh ways to try this blend: • Mix with oil and fresh lime juice for a quick taco marinade • Use on shrimp, chicken, steak, or fish before grilling or roasting • Sprinkle over grilled corn, potatoes, or roasted vegetables • Add to crema, sour cream, or mayo for sauces and dips • Use as a finishing seasoning for fruit, popcorn, hard boiled eggs and avocado toast • Great for sheet pan tacos, skewers, and quick weeknight meals
