This flaky sea bass gets a delicious upgrade with a crisp topping of pistachios, breadcrumbs, and savory seasonings. Baked to perfection, it’s a simple yet elegant dish that’s rich in flavor and texture—perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or special occasion.

  • In a food processor, grind pistachios into small pieces. Combine the bread crumbs, pistachio, garlic, Balkan Medley Spice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour in the olive oil and combine until the bread crumbs reach a texture similar to damp or wet sand.

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Dry the sea bass with a paper towel. If you haven't had the bones removed, run your finger along the edge of the fish until you find the line of bones. Push down near the bone and use tongs to pull them up and away.

  • Place the sea bass on a parchment paper-lined baking tray. Spoon the bread crumb mixture onto the fish and pat it down. Drizzle it with a little extra olive oil and bake it in the oven for 5- 10 minutes or until the fish hits 140 degrees F.

  • Serve Immediately.
