a little bit about the recipe
A perfect balance of sweet and tart, this colorful take on a boozy Arnold Palmer uses black iced tea that's flavored with cranberry and hibiscus powder, which creates a beautiful deep pink hue.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
COCKTAIL SHAKER (OPTIONAL)
directions
Boil 1 cup of water in a small saucepan or tea kettle. Add the cranberry juice powder and hibiscus powder and mix until fully dissolved. Then add the tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags, transfer the tea to a small glass or mason jar, and refrigerate until chilled.

Add the chilled cranberry-hibiscus iced tea mixture, lemonade, orange liqueur, and vodka to a cocktail shaker. Fill it the rest of the way with ice and shake to combine.

Optional: to make a cranberry sugar rim, combine ¼ cup granulated sugar + 1 tsp. of cranberry juice powder in a small shallow dish. Moisten the rims of 2 rocks glasses with water or lemon juice and roll the edges of the rim in the cranberry sugar.

Pour the cocktail mixture evenly into 2 prepared rocks glasses filled with ice. Garnish with lemon and orange slices if desired.
tips
