2 naan breads

a little bit about the recipe
This chicken naan wrap features tender chicken seasoned with a blend of aromatic spices and paired with harissa mayo, tzatziki and fresh veggies to create a fusion of crunch, freshness and delectable flavors.

  • Season the chicken thighs with salt & pepper and a mixture of all spices. Add a splash of olive oil and the juice from half a lemon. Coat well and set aside for 30 min to marinate.

  • In the meantime, prepare the harissa mayo by mixing together the mayonnaise and harissa paste.

  • Prepare the Tzatziki by combining the yogurt, fresh chopped dill to taste, a splash of olive oil, the juice from half a lemon and salt and pepper.

  • Cut up red cabbage into thin strips. Season with salt and pepper, a splash of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix and set aside to marinate.

  • Grill the chicken on high for 8-10 min per side or until cooked through and internal temperature is at least 165F. When the chicken is almost done, lightly char the naan on both side on the grill (30 sec - 1 min per side).

  • Cut up the cooked chicken and assemble the wraps. Brush harissa mayo on the naan. Spread some red cabbage. Top with chicken strips, tomato and cucumber slices, Tzatziki sauce and pickled red onions. Add a drizzle of olive oil and season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
